Do I look stressed in these pictures? I don't think so. Why not? Because, as often as I can, I plug into, connect with, surround and infuse myself with...

JOY!  It helps you relax or get excited (in a good way), engage or disengage (in a good way), feel connected or feel free (in a good way).  JOY - we need more of it. Why? Because of...

STRESS! It's everywhere! It's part of LIFE!! You can't escape it, even though many of us may try... in our own humble, ineffective and often destructive ways.

You get up in the morning, have a cup of caffeine-filled coffee to get your motor running. Then you head out on the highway! Or, if you don't head out to join those other stress-filled commuters heading to the work-a-day world, then you may be getting/pushing/shoving kids out the door. Whatever your means of operation (m.o.!), your stress-filled life begins very early in the day.

Stress is a living, breathing part of our existence. You may read every article you can get your hands on about dealing with stress, staying (or getting) healthy, losing weight, getting your cholesterol numbers under control, avoiding diabetes (or coping with it!).

You may watch the TV gurus (or tape them if you're back on the highway when their shows come on), declaring you know better than those people...or not. You're smart enough, you "get it"! But will you actually do what they suggest to make your life better?

We need help! We are all in pretty sad shape! We're over-stressed, over-worked, over-whelmed, over-loaded! Stress is our middle name and depression is becoming more and more a factor in our lives, like it or not (NOT!)!! Anti-depressants are often thought to be the one and only answer.

I've got another idea, one more "prescription" to share, something I believe is a valuable piece of the solution!

JOY! Sound basic? Sound simple? Yepp, it is.

Too basic? Too simple. Maybe. But it's worked for me all my life and it's working for many others.

I'm an overthinker, I'll confess. But I've also learned how to relax and learned to view the world in such a way that I manage to manage my stress (we all have it!) and even reduce stress in my own life whenever and wherever I can!

I've created a couple of CD's. One is original music (inspirational, acoustic), the other is a relaxation/meditation CD, which incorporates a progressive muscle relaxation with guided imagery. Both CD's are available through this website.

I also provide workshops/seminars, keynotes, and "sermons-in-song" to inspire and encourage others to increase their joy quotient! Please read on. I'd love to come to your community to share!
